Solid effort leads to solid result
Robinson's Independent played another solid game Saturday morning, earning a 4-2 victory over Little Caesar's. Little Caesar's opened the scoring at 5:09 of the first period, with a sliding goal by Charlie Maslin. Independent responded a minute and a half later, as Domenic Cousintine scored on a pass from Tuleigh Cameron. Both teams played hard throughout the second period, but it was Jaden Bozek who finally found the back of the net for the boys in blue. Riley Holford, playing forward for this game, and Cory Maw assisted on the play.
Maw continued picking up points in the third, after he received a beautiful pass from Caleb Carr and passed it to Cameron, who finished the play, for a 3-1 lead. Maw then scored his first goal of the season, a 95 foot shot, which was assisted by Sam Power. Miltie Baxter finished the scoring for Little Caesar's to end the game 4-2. A well played match by all. Well done, guys.
