With winter weather settling in, Huntsville Minor Hockey Association would like to remind all Otters families that our Inclement Weather Protocol is currently in effect. The safety of our players, parents and volunteers remains our top priority, and we encourage everyone to stay informed as conditions change throughout the season.
Practice and Game Status
If you are unsure whether your child's practice or game is still running during a weather event, please reach out directly to your team's coaching staff. Coaches will communicate any cancellations or adjustments as needed.
As long as the Summit Centre remains open, practices may continue at the Head Coach's discretion. Please note that a certified Trainer and Coach must both be present in order for any practice to proceed.
Safety First
We understand that weather and road conditions can vary across the region. Families are encouraged to use their own discretion when deciding whether it is safe to travel to the arena. No player will be penalized for choosing safety during poor weather conditions.
