PeeWee AE Start Regular Season Play
After winning their exhibition game on Sept 20th against the Bracebridge Bears, the PeeWee AE Otters started the 2015/2016 regular season.
The PeeWee AE team played on home ice on Saturday against the Haliburton Storm. Coming away with a victory win 9-2. The team played strong both offensively and defensively.
Sunday the Otters travelled to Port Carling to face the Muskoka Rock. The Otters found themselves down 3-0 in the first but turned on the heat and put pressure on the Rock tying the game up midway through the 2nd period. Both teams battled for the win but the Otters fell short in a nail biting 6-4 loss.
Kudos to the team for their solid effort and to the goalies for their amazing goaltending this weekend.
The PeeWee AE's will prepare for their home game against the Collingwood Blackhawks on Sunday Oct 4th @ 3:45pm on the Jack.
