Split Weekend with a Win and a Loss
After 3 weeks away from home ice, the Huntsville PeeWee AE Otters were thrilled to challenge the Haliburton Storm.
The Saturday afternoon game found the Otters a little slow out of the gate in the 1st but the team found their groove and the back of the Storms net 4 times. Goaltender Parker Soberg-Dann shutdown the Storm and ended the game with a shutout. The Otters skated away with a 4-0 win.
On Sunday, the team travelled to Penetang to face the Flames. This intensive game found both teams battling for control and a barrage of pucks being fired at both goalies and coaches. The hard fought game ended in a 3-1 loss.
The Otters will host Penetang next Saturday Dec 19th at 4pm on the Jack where they plan to extinguish the Flames. Come out and support and make some noise!!!
