2021 -2022 HUNTSVILLE MINOR HOCKEY 

Welcome parents and players.  Registration for the 2021-2022 hockey season is here and we are excited to be preparing for another rewarding season. Your committee of HMHA volunteers is hard at work preparing for hockey and with many new faces working to make hockey a success in Huntsville, please be patient if there are any issues that arise with registration.


Registration requires each registrant to complete the steps as noted below:

   ***ONLY APPLIES TO FIRST-TIME REGISTRANTS OR THOSE WHO HAVE NOT ALREADY COMPLETED THE          MANDATORY COURSE SINCE IT BEGAN IN 2014***

USING THE ONLINE REGISTRATION SYSTEM

Returning registrants can use their username and password from last year’s registration. If you do not remember your password please use the system to recall the password. If you have any other issues please email the registrar, Marie Poirier at [email protected]

 

 

All new registrants must complete the Respect in Sport for Parents on-line.  The details are contained on the attached pdf.

STEP 3:  REGISTRATION PAYMENT TO HMHA

 

Fees for the 2021-2022 season are as follows:

Division based on age as of Dec 31, 2021


 

     


U7 (2015/16/17)/ Initiation                     $150

U8 (2014) U9 (2013) / Novice                  $275

U11/Atom (2011-2012), U13/Peewee (2009-2010), U15/Bantam (2007-2008),
U18 (Midget) (2004-2006)                       $525
 
****18 year olds/2003 birth year can register for Local League but we are not guaranteeed to be able to roster any players of this age until the MPS league committee confirms prior to the start of the season.  Please do not pay in advance with a credit card in case we are unable to accommodate your player.  Please email the registrar so she is aware of your interest and can keep an ongoing list. If we are able to accommodate this age group it will be in limited capacity.
                         
Rep/AE tryout fees are $75 to cover ice time and jerseys.  If your player intends to participate in tryouts for Rep/AE please ensure you include this with your registration to allow for proper preparation and allocation of ice times.  Players must attend all tryouts in order to be eligible to play.
These posted registration fees are in place until August 22nd.  Any registrations made after this date are subject to a $75 increase as a late registration fee.
The final deadline for registration is September 15th.  
Due to the cancellation of the hockey season early in 2021 due to Covid 19 we will be later getting on the ice this season. We will start rep tryouts the week of Sep 27th as it is necessary for all AAA/AA/A tryouts to be completed before we are able to start as a BB centre.
Local League evaluation skates will begin after rep tryouts are complete and all eligible players can be on the ice.
Please make sure you are signed up to receive communication from HMHA as the website is our tool for distributing information. On the home page in the bottom left hand corner is a link to manage subscriptions.  We are working on our social media to provide other avenues for distributing information and the links will be outlined on the HMHA website.

                       
               
     


We hope to have a regular season of hockey and will adjust to whatever is necessary if Covid 19 protocols require.


 

       

       

There will be U15/Bantam Rep/AE Mandatory Checking Clinic for all players in this age category who plan to attend tryouts.  Details to follow once the program is defined.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

  • Payment can be made in the form of credit card or cheque. 
  • We regret that we cannot accept etransfers because we are restricted within banking parameters being a not for profit organization.
  • There will be a $25 fee charged for all NSF cheques
  • Payment must be made in full prior to September 15th.  Players will not be permitted on the ice until full payment for the current season and previous seasons has been received.
