HOW-TO-GUIDE for Completing a Police Record Check/Vulnerable Sector Check
STEP 1: COMPLETE OHF LETTER REQUESTING VULNERABLE SECTOR CHECK
- Save letter as a PDF document
STEP 2: APPLY FOR A VULNERABLE SECTOR CHECK WITH THE OPP
- Complete application and attach PDF "OHF LETTER REQUESTING VULNERABLE SECTOR CHECK" when prompted.
STEP 3: SUBMIT VULNERABLE SECTOR CHECK (VSC) RECEIPT AND/OR COMPLETED VSC TO OHF
- Submit the VSC or Receipt to OHF by logging into the OHF Screening Submission Portal CLICK HERE
- Once you complete your submission you will see a screen appear with a link to submit your VSC to OHF - see image

Once you access the OHF Screening Submission Portal please make sure to do the following before going to Step 4:
- Complete this process on your desktop computer, not your mobile device.
- Have access to your PDF VSC/VSC Receipt
STEP 4: COMPLETE OHF SCREENING PROCESS
- Complete all required information then attach your PDF VSC/ VSC Receipt using the link provided (See image below). Note the link will open a new tab.
Once successfully downloaded, return to the application page (original tab) to continue with the rest of the application submission process.
