With winter weather settling in, Huntsville Minor Hockey Association would like to remind all Otters families that our Inclement Weather Protocol is currently in effect. 

On Wednesday, April 23, HMHA held a Zoom meeting for parents with players interested in Rep hockey to review the upcoming OHF Player Movement Regulations, which will take effect for the next hockey season.

Abuse of officials has been a common concern in many sports, which has officials leaving at alarming rates. 70% ranked “love of the sport” as their primary reason for officiating, but 55% ranked verbal abuse as the number one reason for quitting. https://www.omha.net/news_article/show/1317791

All Vulnerable Sector Checks will be conducted by the Ontario Hockey Federation for all Team Officials and Team Personnel for the 2025-26 season.
