With the recent increase in cases in our region the health unit has required the following.
If your player/child has turned 12 years of age since the beginning of the hockey season and is unvaccinated, they will be required to provide verification of a first Covid-19 vaccination dose received by December 8, 2021.
As of January 1, 2022 all players have a 12 week grace period from their 12th birthday to provide verification of full vaccination.

Another important factor is to ensure that we continue to complete the Town's covid assessment form in advance of arrival to help expedite the checking in process, especially as the outside weather becomes less agreeable to standing around in lines. Understanding that there has been inconsistency with it being asked for it is still an important factor in creating contact lists should there be a need with any positive cases and close contact to anyone who was in attendance.
The same is even more important for travel games. Team managers should be communicating arena requirements so the whole team is prepared upon arrival.
