It has been a significant challenge thus far in getting our season ready.
If you have not seen the details from the government announcement last week, they are detailed here:
The updated policy for access to the arena should be available shortly.
The OMHA guidelines for participation are being reviewed as per the announcement they made last week.
We can only wait and hope to have clarification on all fronts soon and we will relay everything we can as it becomes available.
It stands that all adults entering the arena as of September 22nd will be required to produce proof of vaccination. If you are willing, please submit your records to our Secretary, Michele Snow, at [email protected]
in order to help us with the hopes of expediting the entry process. A secondary source of identification is required for us to confirm your vaccination records match your personal identification. A photo of your drivers license or any government issued form of ID is sufficient. None of these records are kept on file or shared in any manner as your privacy is important in this process.
The tryout schedule has had some modifications, particularly with the U13 group so please make sure to double check the dates and times for your player.
We hope to get all Local league skaters on the ice starting the weekend of Sep 25/26 if we have time to coordinate the details for scheduling with some advance notice to you.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as your dedicated committee of volunteers continue to work diligently to navigate the landscape of this challenging time.
