HUNTSVILLE MINOR HOCKEY ASSOCIATION'S ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING: THURSDAY, APRIL 29TH 7:00PM VIA ZOOM.
WE NEED SEVERAL VOLUNTEERS TO FILL BOARD POSITIONS OR THERE WILL BE NO HOCKEY FOR THE 2021-2022 SEASON.
DON'T DISAPPOINT APPROXIMATELY 400 HOCKEY PLAYERS.
PLEASE NOTE: ALL FAMILIES ARE BUSY. MOST PEOPLE WORK. MANY PEOPLE HAVE MORE THAN ONE CHILD INVOLVED IN MULTIPLE ACTIVITIES. LOTS OF PEOPLE VOLUNTEER FOR MORE THAN ONE CAUSE OR ACTIVITY. IF EVERY PERSON WHO HAS A "BUSY" LIFE DOESN'T VOLUNTEER THERE WILL BE NO ACTIVITIES FOR OUR KIDS. MANY HANDS MAKE LIGHT WORK.
IT IS NOT A VIABLE OPTION TO EXPECT SOMEONE ELSE WILL FILL THE POSITIONS. THIS HAS HAPPENED REGARDING THE HMHA EXECUTIVE FOR SEVERAL YEARS AND WE ARE NOW AT A CRITICAL POINT WHICH LEAVES US WITH ONLY TWO RETURNING BOARD MEMBERS FOR THE UPCOMING SEASON. PLEASE LET YOUR NAME STAND FOR A POSITION SO THERE IS HOCKEY THIS SEASON.
There is a tab at the top of this webpage titled: "AGM 2021". Here you will find information on the AGM, nomination process, nomination form, details about each board position and a list of current nominated people by position.
Nominations will be accepted until Monday, April 26th at midnight. No nominations will be accepted during the AGM. Fill out a form nominating someone for a board position. HMHA will reach out to confirm if that person will allow their name to stand. All accepted nominations will be added to the nomination list under the AGM 2021 tab - the list will be updated regularly.
