Hockey Canada Registration is officially open.

Please sign up by following the Registration tab at the top of this webpage.

**PLEASE NOTE** You must register your player through Hockey Canada to be registered. After midnight on September 22nd, registration will be closed and we will be taking names for a waiting list. Please share this information, in the hopes that no one misses it.

We thank you all for filling in the Preliminary Registration to help us with our planning. PLEASE NOTE: Your player is NOT registered with HMHA for the 2020-2021 programming without completing the Official Registration through Hockey Canada. Players are not covered by insurance without Hockey Canada Registration and are not permitted on the ice without being registered.

Please note the short window for getting registered this season. We must close Registration as of midnight September 22nd to allow us to sort out the "Bubbles" of 50 maximum prior to our players hitting the ice. This means that we have to group players in bubbles of (a maximum) of 50 for our Stage 3 programming. The players are not to be moved from one bubble to another while we are in Stage 3. As a result of this, we can only take names for a Waiting List after September 22nd. We will only be able to add players in if there is room on a team (maximum of 10 players) and within a bubble for practicing and playing games (maximum of 50) or if the numbers worked to add a new team to a bubble. Please note, there is the potential for there to be more than one bubble in any division (we are permitted to have multiple bubbles in any age group, the restriction is teams from those bubbles can only practice/play within their bubble and cannot play teams in other bubbles, even if they are all the same division age group).

We are unable to provide programming for U4 Players (2016 birth years and younger) during Stage 3 due to the necessity of such close contact between our volunteers and our early skaters. Once we move to Stage 4 (with more normal programming and contact permitted) we will look at adding the Preschool Age Group to our programming if there is an interest. If interested, you could check with the Huntsville Skating Club to see if they are able to offer CanSkate programming for this age group.
-Juvenile Players interested in programming this season (2002 birth year), please email your intent to Amanda Jones, HMHA Registrar at: [email protected] Once registration closes, we will assess our numbers and our ability to offer programming to this age group within this modified format of Stage 3. As is always the case, if Juvenile spots are available, they may be awarded on a first come, first served basis (meaning in order of intent being emailed to Amanda Jones), dependent on numbers and any potentially available spots.

New to the registration process, you will notice links to Rowan's Law and the OHF Concussion Code of Conduct information and a check box indicating you have reviewed this information with your player. This is a requirement of registering.

Additionally, you will notice there are no Early Bird or Late Registration Rates this year for obvious reasons due to the condensed registration window. Upon checkout in the Registration process, you will be given the option of paying in full or splitting your payments into three installments with the first one due immediately and the next two on November 1st and January 4th respectively. This has been done in an effort to provide an option for parents to spread out their payments if desired as we know the economic climate has been less than ideal for many families.

If you have any Registration related questions please contact our Registrar, Amanda Jones at [email protected] or you can reach her through this website.

Watch the website for more programming details, including ice time start dates and a Zoom meeting dedicated to discussing the new format for Stage 3 and an attempt to answer questions our families have.
