Coaches - Recertification for all levels needed for this season
Submitted By Kelly Farnsworth on Monday, May 25, 2020
The majority of our coaches' certifications are expiring on August 31, 2020.

Read on to find out how to get recertified during this unprecedented time which sees all in-person coach qualification clinics suspended until further notice. Please don't let your certification expire - there are options to recertify from home.

If you are unsure when your certification expires, please check your qualifications in your E-Hockey Account (there is information in the below link regarding how to create an account if you don't already have one).

The OMHA has taken steps to provide qualification maintenance opportunities which can be completed by maintaining social distancing.

Coaches can complete modules through their Locker profile (information in the link regarding how to access this Coaching Association of Canada's online database) to obtain Professional Development (PD) points towards their recertification. There is also a Self Report function in their profile where self directed learning can be reported, from which PD points can be earned.

Don't let your coach certification expire. Even though we currently don't have all the information regarding the upcoming season yet, we do know we will need certified coaches to run our programs just like any other year. If you require some PD points to recertify, now is the time to earn these so you will be prepared - our players depend on you.

Thank you for your interest in our HMHA players!
