OMHA Playdowns Underway
Submitted By Kelly Farnsworth on Friday, January 24, 2020
All six Huntsville Minor Hockey Representative Teams host at least one OMHA Playdown game at the Canada Summit Centre this weekend.

Playoffs always prove to be exciting hockey. Come out and support these young athletes in their quest for the Red Hats as they battle it out in the Preliminary rounds of the OMHA Playdowns.

Teams work all season towards playoff time where everyone brings all that they have. Our local HMHA athletes could use the energy and support of a large and supportive crowd in the stands as they battle it out on the ice.

Our Playoffs Alert tab at the top of our webpage will take you to all the updated scores and schedules.

Each team will be hosting at least one home game this weekend. 5 of the 6 teams will be facing off against the South Muskoka Bears in this first round and will also have a game just a few minutes down the highway this weekend and would appreciate your support both at home and on the road. The Huntsville Tirecraft Bantam AE Otters is the only team not matched up with South Muskoka for the first round and they will be on the road for Game 2 of their series against the Collingwood Blackhawks on Saturday.
