This past weekend was very exciting for the Northern Upfitters Bantam Rep Otters!

The MPS Bantam A playoff tournament was hosted by the Highland Storm in Haliburton and despite some challenging weather conditions, the weekend was a success for the Otters.

The Huntsville Otters started the first game of the weekend with a hard fought 3-1 win over the Parry Sound Shamrocks.

The team rallied together for the second game against the South Muskoka Bears, which resulted in a 3-2 victory, with the game winning goal scored in the last 2 minutes of the third period.

Sunday morning's game brought a decisive victory of 5-1 versus the Highland Storm, which was enough to put the Otters in first place and the into the MPS Final versus
 the Parry Sound Shamrocks.

In the final game, the first period ended with a score of 2-2. The boys went on to score 4 more goals in the second period, bringing the score to 6-3 Otters. In the third period, the boys did not let down and continued their strong team work and effort to end the game with a win and final score of 8-4.

A great weekend for the Huntsville Otters and momentum which they hope to carry on to the OMHA playdowns, in hopes of bringing Huntsville another red hat!
