Rep/AE Coach Update
Submitted By Kelly Farnsworth on Wednesday, July 24, 2019
Huntsville Minor Hockey Association is looking for volunteers to submit Coaching Applications for two remaining AE teams for the upcoming season: PeeWee AE and Midget AE.

If you have an interest in coaching in either of these divisions, please give some serious consideration to volunteering your time and helping HMHA provide teams for players wishing to play at these levels.

You can access the online coaching application under the Coaches Corner tab at the top of the website.

Taking the leap to be a head coach if this isn't a position you have held in the past may seem a little overwhelming-coaches can make a choice to "co-coach" with a coaching partner as a viable option for leading a minor hockey team. HMHA covers clinic costs for any certifications necessary for bench staff that will be rostered to one of our teams.

Don't just assume "that someone else will step up" as time is ticking and decisions will have to be made regarding icing these teams for the upcoming season in the near future.

HMHA wishes to thank all the applicants who have volunteered their time and to congratulate the following head coaches for the 2019-2020 season:
Atom AE - Matt Kendall
Atom Rep - Nick Andrews
PeeWee Rep - Tyler Ralph

Bantam AE - Kyle Shirtliff
Bantam Rep - Scott MacInally
Major Midget - Jason Farnsworth
