Submitted By Kelly Farnsworth on Saturday, January 5, 2019
The Armstrong Dodge Midget AE Otters have brought home gold from the MPS Regional Playoff Tournament hosted in Powassan January 4th and 5th.

The Otters went 3-0 over the two day playoff tournament to bring home the MPS Championship trophy. They started the weekend off with a match-up against the Almaguin Ice Devils on Friday night, seeing the Otters take the game with a 4-2 win. Next saw the Otters meet up with the Powassan Hawks for a Saturday morning game, with the final score being 5-2, once again in the Otters' favour. Saturday night saw the Otters face off against the South Muskoka Bears in the championship game - the game proved to be a tight battle, with the Otters claiming their third victory of the playoff tournament with a 2-1 win and the MPS title.

Congratulations Otters!!
