PeeWee Rep Champions at home!

Our PeeWee Rep Otters fought hard over the weekend of Nov 24-26 to take home the trophy in their home tournament.



A slow start on Friday with a loss to Caledonia led to a progressively stronger effort as the PeeWee's put together an impressive run of four hard fought wins to take the title.  Two close games on Saturday led to wins over Petawawa and Porcupine setting up a semi final clash with an unbeaten Temaskaming Shores team early Sunday morning.  Our boys had to shake out the cobwebs of the morning and came out hard and fast with an effort that left the opponents scrambling to keep up.  The result was a solid 5-1 victory that lifted spirits and confidence as the whole team gave their best effort in the win. 
In the final it was a chance for redemption against Caledonia.  In a similar fashion to the earlier morning game the boys jumped out to a lead and never let the opponent gain any momentum in a 4-0 win.  The trophy was lifted by each and every player after a complete team performance that had all who watched beaming with Otters pride.
