CHAMPIONS!!

Submitted By Brenda Boothby

On Sunday, November 05, 2017 The Jason Armstrong Midget AE Otters were victorious at their home tournament -- the Winston Watson Memorial Midget AE Tournament. The Otters beat the Orono Leafs 5 – 1.

The Otters played well as a team both offensively and defensively and it showed on the ice and on the scoreboard.  Every player contributed today!!  The Orono Leafs destroyed a lackluster Otters team in their second game on Saturday 5 – 0 and the Orono Leafs came to the rink this morning for the final game believing the Championship Trophy was going home with them. A completely different Otters team showed up to play today and despite facing some very rough hockey in the third period and full penalty boxes on both sides, the Otters continued to play their game and scored 4 goals in the third to win GOLD and keep the trophy at home.

Way to go OTTERS!!  Keep on Believing in yourself!!   This one is for you Winston!!
