Mandatory Training for all Team Officials
All Rep, AE, Local League, Tyke and Initiation team officials are required to complete a Gender Identity and Expression Course prior to the beginning of the upcoming season as per the Ontario Hockey Federation (OHF) - this is a mandatory requirement to be approved to a roster for the 2017-18 season. There will be NO exceptions. This includes ALL Head Coaches, Assistant Coaches, Trainers, Assistant Trainers and Managers who wish to be approved to an HMHA roster this season.

To register for any training through OMHA, all team officials must first have an eHockey account in the Hockey Canada Registry (HCR). eHockey accounts allow officials to sign up for clinics and to check their qualifications and any applicable expiry dates.

Officials can access the clinic through the Coach Education tab on the OMHA website by clicking on the following link:
http://www.omha.net/page/show/2853662-coach-education

Additionally, you can access the information memo from the OHF, which provides some additional information and links/instructions regarding eHockey signup and registering for the Gender Identity and Expression Course. You can access the memo and associated links by clicking on the following: https://e-registration.omha.net/OMHAPortal/download/GenderIdentityandExpressionCourse.pdf

Once you have completed both modules in the course, notification will be posted to your member profile in HCR. If all other required certifications are up to date and the Gender Identity and Expression course shows completed in your HCR profile, you will be eligible to be added to a roster for the upcoming season.
