Vulnerable Sector Check(VSC)/Police Record Check

ELIGIBILIY TO COACH OR BE ON THE BENCH



Huntsville Minor Hockey Association (HMHA) and Ontario Hockey Federation (OHF) requires ALL Rostered Volunteers to complete a Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) with the OPP. For more information regarding VSCs please review the OMHA Criminal Record Check Policy.pdf


It is imperative for all Team Officials to ensure their Vulnerable Sector Checks are complete, to be eligible to facilitate hockey programing on and off the ice. This includes a valid Vulnerable Sector Check and the OHF Screening Declaration Form.

Before entering the OHF Screening Submission Portal, please ensure you are ready with the necessary documentation.


To complete the OHF VSC process, you will need:

👉 Hockey Canada Registry (HCR) Number; AND
👉 Vulnerable Sector Check (PDF) AND OHF Screening Declaration Form (PDF); OR
👉 Receipt of Vulnerable Sector Check (PDF) AND OHF Screening Declaration Form(PDF);



Please Note: If you were a 2022-23/2023-24 bench member, we may have a copy of your VSC on file. Please email [email protected] to inquire. - Do not leave this to the last minute!

✅ All documents must be in PDF format to be accepted.
✅ For the 2024-25 season, the OHF will be accepting Vulnerable Sector Check copies from 2022-23 or 2023-24 AND OHF Screening Declaration Form (PDF).
