Sports can be expensive, and Huntsville Minor Hockey Association (HMHA) is here to help. This year we are offering great financial assistance programs and additional savings for families requiring support.

WHAT IF MY CHILD CAN NO LONGER PLAY/ HAS NEVER PLAYED/ DOES NOT LIKE HOCKEY AFTER REGISTRATION. ARE THERE REFUNDS AVAILABLE?

Refunds are an option with a $50 administrative fee.
Refunds will be issued following:
80% - by October 31st,
60% - by Nov 30th,
30% - by December 31st. 

No refunds will be issued after Jan 1st. The refund process will begin once you email your Local League/Rep Director and the Registrar of your refund request outlining the players name, team, date and reason for the refund.

To make sure your child meets the registration deadline, reach out the HMHA Registrar. In most cases, complete the electronic registration process and once funding is available, your registration fee will be reimbursed.

Each year it's required that you sign the mandatory waivers provided on your Spordle Account. See the steps.


No, if you already have a child enrolled in hockey with OMHA, you do not complete the Respect in Sport Parent course again. Simply access your Spordle account under the Registration tab, click Login to My Account and add member to your profile. Do not open/create another profile. If you do, you risk being required to complete the Respect in Sport Parent Course again.

You may receive emails from your team's manager and/or convener. No emails from the association will be sent to players or parents unless absolutely necessary. It's the responsibility of the player and parent/guardian to check the website regularly for any schedule changes or team information.
Until registration is closed, and final numbers are established days and times by division cannot be determined
In most cases no. Once final enrollment numbers are in, sufficient ice needs to be secured and scheduled covering multiple age groups/divisions. We can't guarantee each year what those ice times/schedules will look like. It is the players/parent's responsibility to coordinate hockey and other sports schedules.

Costs aren't as high as you think. We have a basic registration fee which includes a standard level of programming. Additional activity may involve extra fees on a user-pay basis.
