Sunday Oct 30th - Penetang Rematch
Sunday saw the Otters drive to Penetanguishine for the second half of a home and home series.  After Saturday's nail biter, it promised to be a good game.

Max Farr got the start in the smaller, old style Penetang rink.  He saw lots of action in the first period, but withstood everything the Flames through at him.

The Otters took a penalty at 4:27 for tripping after a defenseman found a rut in the ice and brought down a Flame with him.   The penalty killers did a great job keeping the Flames well outside the crease and killed it off without a real shot on goal being registered.

At the end of the first it was still 0 - 0, with the home team looking strong.

Penetang continued the pressure at the start of the second, and after a point shot was knocked down at the face off dot it was wristed high blocker side for a 1 - 0 Flames lead at 13:18.

Almost right away Huntsville put the pressure back on Penetang, with their goaltender making a desperate save on Matt Clarke's tip in close.   On the next shift at 12:18  Austin's McKee's light wrister on goal trickled through to tie the score at 1.

Less than two minutes later Taylor Cotrill shoved a loose puck that eluded the Penetang goalie through the five hole to take a short lived lead at 10:39.  Only fifteen seconds later the Flames rushed down the ice and scored themselves.  10:24 and it's tied again.

A Huntsville penalty at 6:12 gave the penalty killers more time to shine, keeping the Flames power play pointless.

The third period began cautiously, both teams mostly getting long shots from well out and the goalies stopping everything.  Time flew by with hardly any whistles as the puck slid up and down.

At 5:21 a slap shot from the face off circle put the Flames ahead for the first time since the first period, and the crowd was getting nervous.  Furious action all over the rink continued until with only 24 seconds on the clock Austin McKee and Cole Punchard combined to tie the score yet again.

In the end a tie score seemed like the right result.
