A Great Season comes to an end.
A moment to reflect on this years Peewee AE Otter team.
From September tryouts, of 10 skaters and 2 goalies, to OMHA Semi Finalist what more can one say. A team of 12 determined young individuals that were willing to come out every week to evening and morning practices to develop into the team that they have become is more then one can ask for. These young players proved that hard work and determination will help you rise as a team and these individuals did just that. With the help of 2 AP players (Wyatt S. and Byron W.), that also showed their interest and devotion to the team they conquered the almost impossible and grinded their way to the OMHA Semi's to face an exceptional Collingwood team (that had an outstanding record of 48-3-2 for this season). Our Otters came up short in the semi's but as we told the team "No matter what happens in the playoffs you proved to yourselves that you have grown as a team" with this said I ask that the players and families be proud of their players as for me as a coach and father I could not ask for anything more out of these kids. Be proud and hold your heads high you're a great group of individuals that grew into young men. Good luck in the future to all the players and families.
