PeeWee Otters Sweep the Kings in OMHA Semi Finals
After an exciting 3-game sweep of the Prince Edward County Kings in the OMHA semi finals, the Huntsville Honda Pee Wee Rep team are heading to the finals.

The semi-finals got off to a great start for the Otters when the coin toss landed in their favour giving the team an important two-game advantage on home ice to start the series.

In the series opener, the Otters and Kings took to the ice for a late night duel in front of an excited hometown crowd.  The two talented teams quickly got acquainted and it was obvious from the outset that both teams were going to battle hard for the right to advance.  In game one, the Kings put up a good fight, but when the final buzzer sounded, it was the Otters who topped the scoreboard with a final score of 4-3.

Game two saw the Otters and Kings face-off once again in front of a packed house on the Jack.  Much like game one, the action was fast paced and kept fans on the edge of their seat.   The see-saw battle came down to the final minutes before the Otters sealed their second victory of the series with a thrilling 2-1 win.

Heading into game three, the Otters knew the Kings weren’t going to go down without a fight, but the young squad was determined to complete their conquest.  And conquer they did!  After a feisty back and forth affair that featured highlight reel saves, electrifying end-to-end rushes, and heart-stopping action, the Otters polished off the Kings and earned their spot in the OMHA finals.

The Otters will face the Glanbrook Rangers in their quest for a coveted red hat and the title of OMHA Champions.  Come out and cheer on this amazing team!  Go Otters!
