PeeWee Otters Strong in Exhibition Play
The Huntsville Honda PeeWee Rep Otters got their pre-season off to an explosive start with two convincing wins over the weekend.

The newly minted team travelled to Bracebridge for a mid-day match up with their South Muskoka rivals on Saturday before hosting the Parry Sound Shamrocks on Sunday in front of an excited hometown crowd.
With the South Muskoka Bears still conducting tryouts, Saturday’s game was a great opportunity for the Otters to work on their team chemistry and get to know their new line mates. From the first puck drop to the final buzzer, the team demonstrated strong team play and left the Bears den with a lopsided victory.
Sunday’s match-up with the Parry Sound Shamrocks proved a little more challenging for the Otters, but a late game surge put the hometown team in control. The talented Huntsville offense powered their way to the net, finding the back of the twine 4 times, while the solid Otters defense and “bendy tendy” Ty Wortman teamed up to hold the feisty Shamrocks to a single tally.
Exciting pre-season action continues this Friday when the team travels to Humphrey to face the Shamrocks once again, and then on Sunday for a re-match with the Bears on home ice. Come out and support this powerhouse team! Go Otters!
