Double Win Weekend
The Atom Otters played both away games on Saturday and Sunday, travelling to Haliburton and Collingwood.
Saturday the Otters took on the Storm. In a rocky first few minutes the Storm struck fast and were up by 2. By the end of the 1st the Storm were ahead by 3. The Otters re-grouped and got back on track by finding the net 7 times between the 2nd and 3rd period coming away with the win.
Sunday the Otters travelled to Collingwood to face the Blackhawks. The team played strong but were denied on several occasions a goal. The Otters maintained pressure and were finally rewarded with the only goal in the game. Resulting in an exciting and much deserved win. (*see gallery photos)
The boys will prepare for the up-coming weekend when they face the Haliburton Storm away on Saturday and again at home on Sunday.
