Great weekend of hockey
A win and a tie for the Tirecraft Novice Rep team this weekend
We traveled to Collingwood to take on the Blackhawks again and played a really solid game and came away with another win under our belt, 6-2 was the final score.
We met with the Midland Centennials today at home and we were hopeful that we could play a much better game, and that we did. We scored the 1st goal in the middle of the 1st period and with plenty of shots by Midland, the score stayed 1-0 for us to the end the 1st 10 minutes. Midway through the 2nd period, Midland was able to finally beat our goalie and tie the game. Going into the 3rd period, the game was back and forth and lots of chances at both ends. Midland was able to find the back of our net partway through the 3rd to make the score 2-1 Midland. Our boys were certainly not going to give up and nearing the end of the 3rd period we were able to tie the game again with our goalie pulled and an extra attacker on the ice. Final score 2-2.
