Armstong's Minor Midget Otters Win Exhibition Game!
At the parent meeting held last week for the Minor Midget Otter team, Head Coach Rocky Clarke said "I am here to teach your kids how to win." Well Coach, Job Well Done.
On September 15th the team hosted the South Muskoka Bears Minor Midgets at the Jack Bionda Arena. From the first Otter goal scored with only 32 seconds off the clock...to the last Otter Goal scored with 3 minutes left in the game, our Minor Midgets Otters kept control of the puck away from the Bears.
The Final score of 9-2 had Joshua Zantingh with 2 goals and 5 assists; Nathan Zantingh with 3G and 2A's; Duke Knox 2G's and 1A; Cody Jones and Jordan Dobson 1G each; Christopher Hudson 2A's and Marshall Clarke with 1A.
Regular season will start Friday September 27th at 8:40pm against Collingwood in the Don Lough Arena. The Otters will continue on Saturday September 28th at 4:10pm against the Highland Storm again in the Don Lough.
