Otter Fest is the Best
The team enjoyed this past weekend participating in the Otter Fest. Team AOK found themselves playing a full schedule on Sunday at the Baysville Arena. The 9am game found the team playing against the Bracebridge Canadiens. The team was determined to make a statement. Very excited and focused the team played hard and came away with a 7-1 victory. With only a 2 hour turn-around the boys found game 2 challenging there rival team the Bracebridge Leafs. Again pure focus and determination brought the team results...
The Baysville stands were packed with family and friends cheering, ringing, blowing, laughing and big smiles all around. The team came away with a 8-3 victory. A big congratulations to Damian Buttis scoring his first goal of the season. The boys travelled back to the Huntsville Don Lough ice to challenge the Bracebridge Senators to the Championship game. With three games in a six hour span. AOK tried there hardest but ran out of steam in the end losing 4-1. The coaches would like to congratulate the team on such a great performance and look forward to the upcoming playoff/round robin games.
