Go Otters Go!
The Huntsville Clement Aluminium & Vinyl Novice Otters are now 3 – 1 - 3, after three games.   Friday November 11th, the Novice Otters were host to the Bracebridge Bears, where the Bears had the lead at 3 – 0 when Cameron Richardson put our first point on the board at 4:18 in the second with a beautiful unassisted goal. Bracebridge answered Richardson’s goal at start of the 3rd putting the score at 4 - 1 for Bracebridge.

The Otters were quick catch up in the high scoring intense third period that had family and friends on the edge of their seats as Huntsville and Bracebridge continued to battle it out. At 10:44 in the third, Tysen Robb assisted by Richardson and Jackson Durnan started the ball rolling. Cole Patey, assisted by Durnan, was quick to follow. The pressure was on when Robb assisted by Jesse Taylor at 5:55 brought the score to a 4 – 4 tie.

Bracebridge was quick to come back with 2 goals, one of which was met by Cole Patey unassisted with 40 seconds left in the game, putting Bracebridge in the lead by only one goal. The Otters never gave up, but in the end were defeated when the Bears scored with 8 seconds left.  The final score was 7 -5.

Saturday November 12th, the Novice Otters traveled to Humphrey to meet with North Muskoka Lightning where Riley Knox saw a shut-out with a 13 – 0 win for Huntsville. Sunday November 13th, the Novice Otters were host to the Highland Storm. You could see how tired our little Otters were out there on the ice, but they never gave up hope. In the end the final score was 7 – 0 for Highland Storm.
