AGM Update
Submitted By Kelly Farnsworth on Wednesday, April 8, 2020
Huntsville Minor Hockey Association's upcoming Annual General Meeting scheduled for April 22nd has been cancelled. We will reschedule the meeting for an appropriate time in the future, at some point after the Emergency Order has been terminated by the Ontario Government.

You are still able to submit nominations for the various executive positions via this website (link in the below article titled: "Upcoming AGM - New Nomination Process for Executive").

There are so many uncertainties in all our lives right now, with minor sports being just one of them. Any updates regarding the upcoming hockey season will be posted on our website (including registration information, coach applications and tryout dates) - please be sure to check the website and have your notifications turned on to receive article alerts if you wish to be informed.

Most important right now is the health and well being of all our families. Let's all do our part to protect against the spread of the COVID-19 Virus by following all the recommendations including:
-washing your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or use an alcohol based sanitizer when hand washing is not available
-sneeze/cough into your elbow
-avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth
-avoid contact with people who are sick and stay home if you are sick or have any COVID-19 symptoms
-practice physical distancing
-stay home except for truly essential purposes
The more diligent we all are now, the safer we all are (especially those most vulnerable) and the quicker this pandemic will end and we can all return to somewhat normal circumstances.

I wish you all good health and hope that you all find some positives to take out of the situation we currently find ourselves in.

Take Good Care!
