Pee Wee Rep - Pee Wee's Give Back to the Community
Submitted By Marta Long on Sunday, November 13, 2011
It began with an idea and snowballed into a life long learning experience for some young hockey players.

During our home tournament weekend, November 4th - 6th, the visiting teams came bearing non-perishable food items that the Otters collected for our local Table Food Bank.
On Tuesday, November 8th, a few of the players along with their younger siblings and moms and dad's, all came out to the Food Bank to help unload the truck and to donate the 200 lbs of food that they had gathered into two stuffed hockey bags.
Many of the kids had never been to a food bank before and learned how their contribution was going to help feed many hungry people in our community.  So nice to be able to give back to the Town that gives to us.
Great job Otters!Food_Drive_004.jpg
